This week’s Top Ten Topic is:

Top Ten Book Boyfriends/Girlfriends:

I haven’t done a TTT in such a long time. I haven’t been blogging much the last couple of months, but I’m back now and will be posting regularly again.

This week’s TTT prompt go me all excited to start posting again. I mean, who doesn’t want to swoon over their favorite book-crushes? I sure do! So, let’s get right to it:

Swoon-worthy Book Characters

Draco Malfoy {Harry Potter Series by J.K Rowling}

Draco Malfoy is a guilty pleasure for me. He’s my ultimate “bad-boy” crush. I mean, he’s like a Death Eater for like a hot second and yet I still adore him. I just love this dude even though he’s a little shit throughout the whole series.  When you take the time to consider why he’s the twat he is in the books, maybe you’ll understand him better. He is under so much pressure from his father to be better and more powerful than “the Potter boy”.

I think what adds to my love for this character is the fact that he turns out to be not so bad in the end. He’s a pretty decent guy in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and he has the sweetest little boy, Scorpius. Also, I can’t help picturing Draco as Tom Felton *Swoon*

Victor Krum {Harry Potter Series by J.K Rowling}

Why don’t more people like Victor Krum? Is it because he turned evil in the last challenge of the Triwizard Tournament and tried to kill everyone in the maze except for Harry Potter? I honestly don’t get it! This dude is so cool! He’s an amazing athlete, he has a very cute accent and he likes smart, well-read girls. Ron, on the other hand, finds studying and reading boring and stupid. What the hell was Hermione thinking?

Atlas Corrigan {It Ends with Us by Colleen Hoover}

It Ends with Us is one of my favorite Colleen Hoover novels. A huge part of why I love this novel is because of the great characters. My very favorite being Atlas Corrigan, of course. I have such a crush on this man. Not only is he very sweet and caring, but he also has an amazing drive to succeed in life. From being a homeless 17-year-old boy to owning one of the best restaurants in Boston, Atlas shows us that if you work hard enough all your dreams will come true. You just have to keep swimming.

Cricket Bell {Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins}

Here we have another impossibly sweet guy. Cricket is smart, funny, and cares whole-heartedly about Lola. Although Lola and I have almost nothing in common (except for questionable taste in guys as teenagers), I must admit that I found myself always misreading Lola as Lona (That’s me!) Yes! I like Cricket SO much that I forced myself into this novel!

Raffe {Penryn and the End of Days by Susan Ee}

Again, I’m not too crazy about paranormal creatures but it’s impossible for me not to love Raffe, a fallen Angel. I don’t even know where to start with Raffe, so I’ll just say that you should read this series. You’ll understand completely where my love for this character comes from.

Penryn Young {Penryn and the End of Days by Susan Ee}

Hey, look! It’s my first lady crush on this list and I really do love this chick. Penryn Young is my very favorite YA character. She’s kick-ass, and not at all annoying (like most YA girls) I love Penryn for her realness and relatability. Why can’t more YA female characters be this cool??

Garrett Graham {The Deal by Elle Kennedy}

Garrett Graham will forever be one of my favorite male characters. He’s cocky and has a massive ego, but he is also absolutely perfect! Garrett is in the first novel of the Off-Campus series and is featured in the three following novels too. I fall in love with him more and more in every novel. He is caring, funny, drop dead gorgeous and has the best heart. It’s impossible not to love Garrett Graham!

John Tucker {The Goal by Elle Kennedy}

Moving on to one of Garrett’s best friends and another one of my favorite male characters, John Tucker. I like Tucker for so many reasons. He’s one of the most realistic book characters ever. He doesn’t dream of becoming famous and being mega-rich. He simply wants to open his own business and live a humble yet fulfilling life. I love that. Tucker takes responsibility for his actions and sticks around through the good and the bad things. Out of the four guys in the Off-Campus Series, Tucker is the most mature and underrated. He’s not boyfriend material. He’s husband material.

Dmitri Belikov {The Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead}

I honestly am not a great lover of anything paranormal but Dmitri is one amazing vampire/human creature thing. He’s all dark and broody, and yet he’s super nice and has a great heart. He cares a lot about what is important to him and I think that’s amazing. I’ve also recently noticed that I’m quite intrigued by Russian things.

Ze’ve Kesley {The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer}

Wolf isn’t usually the first guy that comes to mind when I think about The Lunar Chronicles. I mean we have Kai, a cute and funny prince. Then there’s Carswell Thorne, the self-obsessed, immature, and totally lovable AWOL soldier. Yet when I think of Ze’ve I can totally imagine him to be the perfect mate. He has a giant heart and loves Scarlett unconditionally. He’s protective, sweet, and really adorable. Thorne might make most girls weak in the knees, but Ze’ve is hands down my Lunar Chronicles crush.

Cinder {The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer}

I left Cinder until the very end because this girl means more to me than all the characters above. Cinder and The Lunar Chronicles is the reason I started reading and ultimately started One Girl, Infinite Books. I enjoyed reading The Lunar Chronicles so much and I adore all the characters (even the evil ones) Cinder will forever have a special place in my heart. Not only did she show me what it means to be passionate about what you believed in, but she also showed me that you can’t win the war by yourself and that it’s okay to ask for help. I love Cinder and The Lunar Chronicles so much!

So that’s my list of Book Crushes. Do you have any of my crushes on your list? Please feel free to let me know. 🙂
